Terms of Service

Cavalier Health Tracker (the "Service") is operated by Tonya Wilhelm. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Not veterinary advice

The Service is a personal record-keeping tool. It helps you log and organize symptoms, vitals, medications, and appointments for your dog, and it references publicly available weather data. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide veterinary advice, and nothing in the Service should be treated as a substitute for a licensed veterinarian's judgment. Always contact your vet, or an emergency vet clinic, if you're concerned about your dog's health.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Family members may share one account; caregivers you invite get their own limited access as described in the app.

3. Plans, billing, and trials

New accounts start with a free 7-day trial covering up to 12 dogs. The paid plan ($14.99/year, up to 12 dogs) is billed annually through our payment processor, Stripe.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if the Service isn't the right fit, contact us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your account at any time from your Account page. Canceling stops future billing; your logged history is kept (not deleted) in case you return, unless you separately request permanent deletion by contacting us.

5. Caregivers and shared access

If you invite a caregiver, you're authorizing them to view and log entries for the dogs you grant them access to, within the permissions the Service defines for that role. You can revoke a caregiver's access at any time; doing so doesn't affect their own separate account or login.

6. Acceptable use

Please use the Service only for its intended purpose — tracking your own dog's health, or a dog you're an authorized caregiver or foster for. Don't misuse the Service to misrepresent yourself as a veterinary professional, attempt to access another person's account without authorization, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.

7. Affiliate program

If you join our affiliate program, commissions are earned only on valid, completed sales driven through your unique referral link, subject to the program terms provided when you apply.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is." Weather and barometric pressure data comes from a third-party provider and is not guaranteed to be perfectly accurate or available without interruption. We work to keep the Service reliable but can't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cavalier Health Tracker and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made about your dog's care based on information logged in the app. Always rely on your veterinarian for medical decisions, not on the app alone.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
